The short version
- Pick the wall and a rough height — the exact spot is confirmed with tape on the day.
- Have the TV, the mount (if you have one) and any cables, soundbar or shelf at home.
- 60″ or larger? Have someone to help lift, or book a second technician.
- Clear the wall and the floor in front of it. Fireplace, stone or MantelMount — send a photo first.
1. Before the visit
Pick the wall and a rough height
Decide which wall and which seat you’ll watch from. The rule of thumb is the center of the screen at your seated eye level — see how high to mount a TV. You don’t need it exact: before drilling, the TV outline goes on the wall in tape and you approve the spot.
The TV and the mount
- Keep the TV, its remote and any small parts from the box together.
- Samsung Frame TV: keep the One Connect box and cable with it.
- Your own compatible mount is free to use. No mount? We bring one: fixed from $39, tilting from $49, full-motion from $69. Not sure which — pick “help me choose” in the quote form.
- No way to get the TV home? TV pickup and delivery with our van starts at $59.
Cables and extras
- Cables going inside a drywall wall should be in-wall rated (CL2 is typical for HDMI) and long enough for the run. More in how to hide TV wires.
- Soundbar, floating shelf or game console: have them on hand — you provide the item, we install it.
- Know where the nearest outlet is. If you want one behind the TV, an electrician adds it before the visit — we don’t do electrical work.
A helper for big TVs
TVs 60″ and larger need two people to lift safely. If someone at home can help, that’s free; if not, book a second technician (+$49) when you request the quote.
Special walls: send a photo
Fireplace, brick, stone, tile or a MantelMount — a photo of the whole wall with your quote request means the right anchors and tools come with the first visit. See TV wall types and TV above a fireplace.

2. On the day
- Clear the space. Move furniture a few feet away from the wall, take down pictures where the TV goes, and clear the top of the console.
- Pets and kids are happier in another room while there’s drilling.
- Tape preview. The TV outline goes on the wall first; you sit down, check it, and approve the spot before any hole is drilled.
- Price first. The price is confirmed before work starts, and any change is discussed and approved before it’s made.
- Clean-up. Shoe covers on, dust vacuumed, packaging taken care of.
3. After
- Check every input — streaming, cable box, game console, soundbar — while we’re still there.
- Keep the TV’s original stand and screws in case you move it later.
- The installation comes with a 1-year workmanship warranty.
TV wall mounting is $119 for TVs up to 65″, $149 for 70–86″ and from $189 for 87″ and up. Above a fireplace +$49, brick or concrete +$49, tile or stone from +$69.
